ACTIVITIES

Generally, Academic Staff College is entrusted to conduct Orientation Programmes, Refresher Courses and Conferences/Workshops of Principals, Coordinators, Deans. Other than these programmes the Academic Staff College sometimes conducts Seminars, Computer Awareness Programmes from teachers etc.

One of the most important activities of the Academic Staff College in Burdwan University rightly to be mentioned that it had already published fifteen edited volumes of books which are very useful to the teachers attending the Orientation Programmes and Refresher Courses including two volumes of the Newsletter, 'ACADEMY'. Third volume of this Newsletter will be published shortly.

One volume entitled 'Training Program on Computer Usage' has been published on 10th May, 2002.
