Expansion of knowledge is taking place rapidly in the fast changing world scenario. The teachers are required to update their knowledge to keep pace with the latest development and to cater to the need of the students. Knowledge is the main resource in the 21st century. Against this backdrop our University established UGC Academic Staff College in 1989 as a part of UGC's Policy after The National Policy on Education (NPE), 1986. Since then, it has been providing quality inputs to the teacher participants through its multifarious activities with the active co-operation of all concerned.
